Rose waves goodbye to Rectory House

Having clocked up nearly 30 years of loyal service, Rectory House stalwart Rose Wrighton said goodbye to the staff and residents of the care home this week at an emotional retirement party.

Rose was a Registered Nurse for 25 years before transferring to the home’s reception, where she has taken care of many key administrative tasks for the past five years, whilst providing a friendly welcome to all those friends, relatives and professionals visiting the period home. She is now looking forward to spending more well-deserved time with her husband John and their family in her retirement.

Gary Briggs, Rectory House Manager, explained that Rose will be sadly missed:

‘Rose has been a firm fixture here at Rectory House and she will be sorely missed by everyone. Her knowledge, experience and passion have made her an invaluable member of the team and a much-loved member of the community. We all wish her a very long, happy and healthy retirement.’

Rectory House is run by the family-owned Caring Homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery. The home provides residential and nursing support for up to 41 people in the village of Sompting, West Sussex.
