Residents have fun at Abbeycrest for Halloween

Describing the fun of the event is Sarah Butler, daughter of Joy Aldridge (pictured above). She says: “It was wonderful to walk in and see my mum’s face all painted as a ghoul and she found it so funny too. It was lovely to see mum so happy and joining in with all of the activities at Abbeycrest.”

She continued: “It’s always great to walk into Abbeycrest and find out what mum has been up to, the other day she had just had a foot massage! By knowing that mum is being cared for so well and is happy has taken a huge weight off of the family’s shoulders.”

Abbeycrest is a specialist care home for those with varied types and stages of dementia and offers regular activities for all of its residents to help retain optimum wellbeing.
