Rendlesham residents spread Christmas cheer at local soup kitchen

With Christmas spirit in the air, several of the Rendlesham residents took the opportunity to contribute to the local community recently as they visited a local soup kitchen to donate clothing and blankets to those less fortunate than themselves.

Residents Joan Fuller and Madge Grimmwood spent time with a number of homeless people during the visit, handing over the spare coats, hats, scarves and blankets that had been gathered up at the Suffolk home in preparation for their visit.

Situated close to the forest on the outskirts of the village, Rendlesham Care Centre provides high quality residential, nursing and dementia support for up to 60 elderly people.
