Remembrance Sunday At Forth Bay

The residents at Forth Bay Home in Kincardine on Forth marked Remembrance Sunday and the 100 year anniversary by making and designing various poppy displays at the home much like the local church.

It gave the residents a chance to get involved to mark a day of importance to them and the opportunity to do some arts and craft activities, which is a great way to keep hands and minds busy while exercising stiff fingers and getting together in a friendly group. Getting involved in crafts can be a soothing outlet and it was great to see the residents express their creative side.

The end result is fantastic and the poppies on the outside of the home even lit up at night!
