Remembrance Day at Mount Pleasant

To mark the 100th anniversary of the First World War this month, the residents of Mount Pleasant spent a quiet day reflecting on the soldiers who gave their lives for the cause. To acknowledge the special Remembrance Day, the residents decided to make a family tree display decorated with poppies. The time spent painting the poppies and putting the names of loved ones on them evoked some poignant reminiscence amongst the group. Located on the edge of Burton-on-Trent, Mount Pleasant is a modern purpose-built care home providing residential and specialist dementia care for up to 50 elderly people.
