Red Nose Day and Comic Relief at Mill House

The team and residents at Mill House care home in Chipping Campden supported Comic Relief at their home on Friday 24th March with a day filled with lots of fun activities and entertainment.

Everyone got into the spirit of the day by wearing items of red clothing, red noses (of course), wigs, joke glasses or talked in a funny accent to go along with their outfits.

As part of Comic Relief day, we thought it only fitting to have some comedy entertainment and we invited the comedian, Paul Dumas, a ventriloquist, to Mill House. He was absolutely hilarious and brought along a variety of puppets such as a baby, Elvis, Gorilla and a granny with him on the day. Our residents were delighted with his routine and the sounds of laughter spread throughout our home.

There was lots of laughing, fun and dancing all day around Mill House. Kim, our Home Manager even brought her dog, Ruby into our home to join in with all the merriment. Ruby is a regular and very welcome visitor to Mill House so we couldn’t leave her out of all the fun.

Everyone who took part, had a really enjoyable afternoon and we all agreed it was the best Red Nose Day ever held here at Mill House. We’ll have a challenge next year to beat this one.

At Mill House care home in Chipping Campden we deliver residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 45 elderly residents in a friendly and supportive environment.
