Rectory’s Manager 10K Challenge

Scarlett McDonald, Home Manager at Rectory House will  be taking part in a local 10K run on Bank Holiday Monday 30th May 2016.

Often described as an old fashioned multi-terrain cross country, with plenty of multi terrain and slippery surfaces, this course will take her mostly on paths and tracks through the beautiful Sussex countryside.

Our residents and care team alike have all been eagerly discussing her upcoming adventure and she has been receiving lots of tips and advice, especially from those who were keen runners/athletes. It has definitely proved to be a discussion point amongst us all.

Scarlett said

“I am looking forward to taking part in this run as it is going to a great cause – our residents fund. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do here at Rectory House and we all work together to make their time with us as rewarding as possible and provide a real home from home environment. For example, a resident recently commented that we had passed the ‘mum’ test and for me, that is exactly what I want to hear.”

Good luck Scarlett. We’re all rooting for you and we know you’ll do us proud!
