“Reading Centenarians” at Abbeycrest

We’re privileged enough to have three Centenarians living at Abbeycrest and in Spring this year, the three ladies had their individual photos taken by Ian Wilson. The photos will be included in a gallery show project called “Reading Centenarians.”

All born in 1915, Kathleen, Myrtle and Eileen have lived at Abbeycrest for over three years. They regularly enjoy activities and trips and were particularly excited to have their photos taken by Ian.

“We’re thrilled that Ian wanted to photograph our residents and are really pleased with how the photos turned out” said Marilyn Kimayong, Home Manager; “We think the photo of the three ladies together is particularly lovely and it’s wonderful Ian wanted to photograph three of our oldest residents who have over 300 years of life experience put together!”

Abbeycrest offers exceptional residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 70 elderly people.
