Praise from Care Quality Commission for Mill House

Mill House in Chipping Campden has been praised in its latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) report for helping residents maintain their independence and respecting their privacy and dignity.

The care home was rated as Good overall in the latest inspection – which took place in April. It is the second time Mill House has received a Good overall rating.

Residents praised the care team and the way in which they were treated. One relative said; “Staff are very patient and take the time to understand my relative. Another said; “The staff here are remarkable, very caring, my husband is flourishing here.”

Mill House delivers the highest standard of residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 45 elderly residents in a friendly and supportive environment. The home, in the beautiful market town of Chipping Campden, benefits from a fantastic location and is built from Cotswold stone and finished to very high standards throughout.

People were positive about the service at Mill House. One resident told inspectors; “We feel very comfortable here. I looked at several homes so I could choose the right place and I am very pleased with this place.”

Djoanah Turla, Home Manager, said: “At Caring Homes we want to ensure that our home is just that – a caring home. We are all extremely happy that the CQC inspectors have given us a Good rating in all five categories during our latest inspection.”
