Poetry club is a success at Mill House

The residents of Mill House took time out this week to participate in an interactive poetry session at the Cotswold home.

The new poetry club saw the residents reciting William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, William Wordsworth’s ‘Daffodils’, ‘Sea Fever’ by John Masefield and ‘The Walrus and the Carpenter’ by Lewis Carroll.

The residents enjoyed the opportunity to discuss their favourite poems and poets so much that they have requested for the club to become a regular feature on the activities programme.

Situated at the heart of the delightful market town of Chipping Campden, Mill House provides residential and nursing care for up to 45 elderly people.
