Pets provide welcome therapy at Abbeycrest

The residents of Abbeycrest care home were treated to a visit from ‘Lucy Stark Pet Therapy’ and her colourful collection of animals this week.

The residents gathered in the lounge of the purpose built home to welcome mischievous menagerie that included rabbits, guinea pigs and a tortoise. Lucy then kindly allowed everyone to hold and stroke the animals whilst she gave an interesting insight into the care that they each required.

Located in the quiet village of Sonning Common at the heart of the Chilterns, Abbeycrest is one of Caring Homes’ newest care homes, offering exceptional residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.
