Penny picks up fancy dress prize at Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant was transformed this week as the residents and staff hosted a spooky themed tea to celebrate Halloween.

Everyone at the Burton-on-Trent home took part in a fiendish fancy dress competition, which was won by resident Penny Manning just ahead of the ‘Addams Family’ and Manager Anne-Marie’s ghost costume. The residents then enjoyed some spooky cookies prepared by the kitchen staff before tucking into the themed tea itself.

Located on the edge of Burton-on-Trent, Mount Pleasant is a modern purpose-built care home providing residential and specialist dementia care for up to 50 elderly people.
