Oak Manor Fete draws in the crowds

The staff and residents at the specialist dementia care home, were delighted that so many people attended the popular annual event.
There were lots of activities and attractions on offer during the day, including jewellery and clothes stalls, a tombola, cakes and candy stalls, catch a duck, face painting and food stalls.
Oak Manor care home manager, Anne Benstead, extended her thanks to everyone who supported the event. She said:
‘It really was a huge success and there is no doubt the sunny weather helped to attract the large crowds. We raised £375, which will go towards supporting the residents of Oak Manor.’
Located in the village of Scarning, Oak Manor is a care home providing dementia care for up to 61 elderly people. The home is run by the family-owned Caring homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery.
