Music from the 50s for Kippington

The residents at Kippington in Seven Oaks enjoyed a mellow treat in the form of Joe Phillips.

Joe joined the residents and care team to entertain them in the afternoon with sets from the 50’s all the way through to the 70’s. As he sung his way through the hits he started to draw more attention, with a full room by the end.

The residents thoroughly enjoyed tapping and singing along, it is great to see so many joining in. It really lift the spirits as they join in with group interaction which helps to relieve boredom. Remembering the words for songs they grew up listening to encourages happy memories and thoughts.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon Joe.
