Mount Pleasant residents limber up for a lively afternoon of line dancing

The residents, relatives and staff of Mount Pleasant took to the floor this week as the purpose built home hosted an active afternoon of line dancing.

The ‘rootin-tootin’ residents got in the mood by making traditional wild-west style neckerchiefs and donning colourful cowboy hats for the occasion. Those who could not get involved in the dancing cheered their fellow residents on, with everyone enjoying some ginger beer and nibbles afterwards.

Located on the outskirts of bustling Burton-upon-Trent and enjoying beautiful views of the National Forest and Derbyshire countryside, Mount Pleasant is a modern purpose built care home providing residential and dementia care for up to 50 elderly people.
