Moorlands – Bird World

A group of residents from one of our Surrey homes took flight this week to visit ‘Bird World’ in Farnham.

From parrots to penguins, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Even those who weren’t bird lovers were able to get to know the animals on the Bird World farm including the reindeer and the pigs.

The group dropped into the neighbouring garden centre for a light lunch before heading home to tell everyone about their new feathered friends.

Located on the edge of the vibrant village of Lightwater in Surrey, Moorlands provides residential and nursing care for up to 40 elderly people in a bright and homely environment. The home’s semi-rural location offers a tranquil setting within easy reach of the village’s many amenities.
