Mill House residents are sweet enough

Members of the local community were treated to a tea party with a difference this week as local Mill House care home hosted a ‘Sugar-Free’ Tea Party.

The theme was chosen for the home’s fundraiser as part of the Caring Homes ‘Charitable Partnership’ initiative for 2013/14, whereby each of the 56 care homes across the group are working together to raise thousands of pounds for their two chosen charities, Diabetes UK and Parkinson’s UK.

With entertainment provided by talented local singer Ruby Lamont, the day proved popular with residents staff and guests of the modern care home.

Located at the heart of the delightful market town of Chipping Campden, Mill House is a purpose-built care home providing residential and specialist nursing care for up to 45 elderly people. The home is run by the family-owned Caring Homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery.
