Zumba Party at Mill House

Mill House is hosting a Zumba party for residents, their families and the local community on Friday 17th June at 3pm to celebrate National Care Home Open day.

If you love to dance and listen to Latin music, then do come and join us and Ibby, a trained Zumba instructor, who will be running the session which has been adapated to meet our residents and visitors needs.

Zumba is a great way of exercising for our residents as it incorporates gentle dance and fitness routines to the rhythm, but as it is performed at a lower intensity, it helps strengthen and loosens muscles and also offers chair exercises for those with more limited mobility so everyone can join in.

Dominika Soboczynska, Activity Coordinator said:

“We’re really looking forward to our Zumba party. It is such an entertaining activity and gets everyone dancing, tapping their feet, clapping their hands, smiling and laughing along to the music. It’s also a great way for everyone to join in and have fun together.”

Kim Mulford, our Home Manager will be happy to speak to you about life at Mill House if you would like any information.

To let us know you would like to attend our ‘Zumba Party’ or to find out more about life at Mill House, please RSVP on 0808 223 5524 or via email here.

If you are unable to attend on the day our doors are always open to the public to show what great work goes on and what life in our care home is all about.
