Military Museum visit for Bradbury Gents
8th March 2018
Some of the gentlemen from Bradbury House in Braintree spent the afternoon in Maldon at the Military Museum. This was an opportunity for the male resident’s at Bradbury House to bond and share memories of their time served in the war. The museum was over three floors and displayed all sorts of artifacts, ranging from ancient spears to gas masks. There were displays of uniforms and a large display of firearms which can be seen in the photo. The gentlemen also got to see battlefield medical equipment; learn the personal stories behind the medals on show and read in mate diary accounts of British soldiers. These stories provided a topic of conversation and stirred up memories of their own time served in the war.All artifacts are one man’s collection that he has shared with the public! The afternoon was a great success and it was a great opportunity for the guys to rekindle their friendships.[gallery size="medium" columns="2" link="file" ids="25729,25728"]
