Military mayhem at East Hill House fundraiser

A military-style assault course was erected at East Hill House this week as the staff and residents hosted a fundraising celebration in support of National Heroes Day.

With inspirational military music playing, many of the willing staff members dressed as superheroes (one as a tree) and tackled the fun-filled course in aid of Help for Heroes. The residents watched on in delight as the staff struggled over, under and through a range of obstacles, even including feathers and water.

East Hill House’s Resident Representative, Vic Plumbley, presented the medals to the winners, with a total of over £50 raised on the day.
Located in the village of Liss, East Hill House provides high quality residential and specialist dementia care for up to 35 elderly people in a unique setting.
