Meerkats make Pat’s day at Colchester Zoo

To celebrate her 85th birthday, Bradbury House resident Pat Davenport chose to spend the day with her friends at Colchester Zoo.

With the sun shining and the mood merry, Pat and five of her fellow residents set off for the popular attraction accompanied by some of the Bradbury House staff team.

Pat was keen to visit the zoo as she has a love of animals and she was thrilled to see her favourites, the cheeky meerkats. The fun-filled day out was topped off by a delicious picnic lunch as the residents soaked up the Essex sunshine.

Situated at the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family and enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely environment for up to 21 elderly people.
