May Activities at Galsworthy House

At Galsworthy House care home in Kingston upon Thames, our residents enjoy a variety of stimulating and meaningful activities and events at our home and what we have planned for May is no exception.

Here’s just a taster of what’s we’ll be up to:

04/05/2017: Eva will be joining us to play the piano to the residents in the Richmond Room.

05/05/2017: Galsworthy House will be celebrating VE day. George will be singing songs from the 1940’s in the Richmond Room with songs from the 40’s.

09/05/2017: Zaltan will be playing the keyboard and singing in the Richmond Room.

11/05/2017:
We are excited to have a newcomer at Galsworthy house. Pete Norton who is a singer and guitarist will be performing for us in the Richmond Room.

14/05/2017:
Galsworthy will have a cabaret late afternoon, taking us into supper. We will listen to music from a variety of musicals with residents and their family members.

16/05/2017:
Danielle the Harpist will be joining us at Galsworthy.

17/05/2017:
We have the lovely Nancy joining us for ballroom dancing alongside five couples in the Richmond room.

Galsworthy House provides the highest standards of residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 72 elderly residents. Located in a prime position on Kingston Hill, the home enjoys wonderful views over Richmond Park, the largest Royal Park in London.

RE: A message from the CEO and Clinical Director

At Caring Homes we are following the latest Government advice and stopping visitors to all our homes, except for essential visits by healthcare professionals who will be required to adhere to strict protocols.

We understand that this may be very difficult for families but we are clear in our duty to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues as our top priority.

We want you to know that you can contact your loved ones through calls, emails, video and social media and we will support our Residents to view any messages you send over. We are confident that the teams in our homes are doing all they can to ensure that life remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. There will be a full programme of activities delivered by our in-house health and wellbeing teams.

We hope you will understand and support these actions and any further subsequent measures we might need to put in place.
