Mandala therapy at Mill House

The residents of Mill House have been trying their hand at a new alternative therapy called Mandala therapy recently as part of their diverse activities programme.

‘Mandala’ means circle in Sanskrit, and they have been used to facilitate meditation in Indian and Tibetan religions for hundreds of years.

The residents spent some relaxing time colouring in special Mandala colouring books, which are said to relieve stress and promote a sense of calm and wellbeing.

Mill House is a purpose-built care home providing Residential and Specialist Nursing care in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.
