The Mad Hatters Tea Party at Hulcott

The Mad Hatters Tea Party was the theme for Hulcott’s annual garden party this year and the staff pulled out all the stops to ensure the event was a success and our residents had a good time.

Families and friends of residents, alongside members of the local community, were warmly invited to celebrate this occasion with us.

There was music by Mike Gee (our favourite entertainer), to name a few of the stalls, there was ‘Hook the Duck’, ‘Win a Bottle of Wine’, candy floss, Grannie’s Attic and a professional photographer came for the afternoon to capture those special moments for relatives to treasure.

To top our buffet, tea scones, jam and clotted cream were on the menu and were delicious.

A raffle was held which included a hamper from Tesco Broadfields and many other prizes kindly donated by relatives and friends of Hulcott. These varied from wine to picture frames, M & S Vouchers to Chocolates. We were amazed at the generosity and all prizes were greatly received by the winners.

Margaret Smart, Home Manager said

“It was a fun day enjoyed by residents, relatives and our team alike. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who kindly donated the prizes, as well as their time and energy into making this such a great day for everyone involved.”
