Mad hatters tea party at Galsworthy House

The residents at Galsworthy House nursing home in Kingston upon Thames have been busy preparing for the Mad Hatters tea party they held last week.

They have been busy decorating their hats which Activities coordinator Sue who had already built the structure of the hats for them. They took a variety of materials such as gems, feathers, cut out card and used glue to decorate them ready for the tea party.

The residents celebrated with their Mad Hatters tea party at the beginning of the month, they wore the hats they had made and some family members joined in the fun. A competition was held for the best decorated hats with six prizes to be won! Resident Paul won first prize!
