Macmillan Coffee Morning at Ferfoot

The residents at Ferfoot Care Home recently took part in The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Coffee Morning Cancer Support.

It was a really popular event for all and a great chance for the residents, guests and staff to catch up over a coffee, choose from a selection of mouthwatering cakes and to raise money for a great cause. The morning was a liqueur coffee morning, which some of the residents particularly enjoyed!

Nicki Stone, Home Manager aka ‘The hostess with the Mostess’ said; “We were very glad we took part in this event as this cause is close to our hearts. It was a lovely morning with some fabulous homemade cakes and we also ran a ‘Spot the Cake’ competition.”

We would like to say a big thank you to all our contributors and helpers on the day for making this such a resounding success and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
