Kon’nichiwa from Galsworthy House

Residents at Galsworthy House in Kingston upon Thames enjoyed an afternoon of Japanese delight this week.

Everyone gathered in the dining room which was decorated in a pastel green and pink with Japanese music playing quietly in the background. The residents were treated to a special menu which was created by our catering manager.

Chicken Soup

Sweet and sour noodles

Lychees and cream

Themed days make lunch and dinner more interesting for residents, putting fun around meal time and gathering everyone together. It also helps our residents try new flavours which they may not otherwise have tried.

This was a well attended event, with many residents commenting on how they enjoyed it , bringing back memories to some which was shared on the tables.
