Knowle Park welcomes green fingered Scouts

Members of the local Cranleigh Scout Group have become a welcome addition to Knowle Park lately. As part of their ‘Community Week’ the group have so far been working away in the garden to tidy it up. When they have the garden looking spic and span, the group plan to move on to other small jobs to benefit residents in and around the home.

There is a well established tradition of joint activities between Knowle Park and the Cranleigh Scout Group. The leaders often help out with the annual Garden Party charity raffle, they organised a memorable bonfire for all the residents to enjoy on Guy Fawkes night and they visited the home at Christmas to do some carol singing. The next event on the agenda is a campfire evening to be held this Summer.
Knowle Park is a magnificent early 19th century Manor House on the outskirts of Cranleigh, Surrey, that has been lovingly restored to provide residential and nursing care for up to 43 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
