Knowle Park residents enjoy matinée performance

The Knowle Park residents fancied a jaunt out recently and for a change, decided to go to the entertainment venue ‘G Live’ in Guildford.

They were delighted to catch a matineé performance by lively band ‘Swinging to Victory’. The 17-piece ‘big band’ and four singers performed wartime classics such as ‘We’ll Meet Again’, ‘Moonlight Serenade’ and ‘I’ve got Sixpence’, all of which brought back plenty of fond memories for the group.

Situated on the outskirts of Cranleigh, Knowle Park is a magnificent early 19th century Manor House that has been lovingly restored to provide residential and nursing care for up to 43 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
