Knowle Park celebrates The Queen’s 90th birthday

On Saturday 11th June residents, families, friends and staff at Knowle Park care home in Cranleigh held a street party in celebration of The Queen’s 90th birthday.

The Mayor of Cranleigh was a special guest for the day and alongside his wife, he enjoyed talking to residents and loved ones throughout the afternoon. Teas, sandwiches and cakes were enjoyed by all thanks to Chef Andy and a local talented entertainer, Natasha kept everyone singing, dancing and smiling throughout the afternoon.

“This was a truly fantastic day enjoyed by all” said Athena Stevens, Home Manager: “The health and wellbeing of our residents is of the utmost importance to us and we know that activities and events always make a positive impact. We have a diverse and varied activities provision at the home and there is always something for everyone. We were really pleased to see so many guests as our home has a wonderful community feel which we are always happy to promote. Our next event will be held in July, please contact us for more details.”
