Ivy Court visit the local fire station

The residents from Ivy Court Care Home in Norwich visited the local fire station this week as they held a family open day to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the opening of North Earlham Fire Station.

The residents had a look around the fire engines, learnt about Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service and the things they do to help with our safety and of course the more dangerous side of their jobs!

There were also demonstrations which we watched although a few of them got rather hot! The residents also had a chance to play at some of the stalls such as a tombola and raffle.

All the resident really enjoyed it, it is great to be out n the local community meeting new people.

Thank you North Earlham Fire Station!
