Hulcott residents head to the ‘Conservatory Arms’

The residents of Hulcott have found a new place to get together for a drink and a catch up recently, with the home’s conservatory being transformed into their own ‘local’ every Friday.

The ‘Conservatory Arms’ plays host to pre-dinner drinks from 11.30am each Friday and offers residents a relaxed environment to chat, reminisce and have a laugh and a joke. The new ‘pub’ is the talk of the home and is getting more popular each week, with the care staff also invited to indulge in a (non-alcoholic!) drink, enjoy the nibbles and listen to the ambient background music.

Located in the peaceful village of the same name, Hulcott is a 19th century house that has been sympathetically converted and extended to provide residential and specialist nursing care for up to 38 elderly ladies and gentlemen. The home is run by the family-owned Caring Homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery.
