Hulcott hold colourful ‘Party for Parkinson’s’

The staff and residents at Hulcott Nursing Home got together recently to host a colourful party in honour of Parkinson’s UK. Everyone at the period home was keen to raise awareness of the disease as Hulcott provides day care for sufferers of Parkinson’s and support for their families.

The party was held as part of the Caring Homes ‘Charitable Partnership’ initiative for 2013/14, whereby each of the 56 care homes across the group are working together to raise both awareness and money, for their two chosen charities, Parkinson’s UK and Diabetes UK.

Located in the peaceful village of the same name, Hulcott is a 19th century house that has been sympathetically converted and extended to provide residential and specialist nursing care for up to 38 elderly ladies and gentlemen. The home is run by the family-owned Caring Homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery.
