Hillview flower in Clackmannanshire in Bloom
Posted on Thursday 11th August
The care team and residents at Hillview Care Home in Sauchie, have been working hard this year for the Clackmannanshire in Bloom competition. We all take a lot of pride in the home and it gives us the chance to celebrate our hard work.
The final judging took place on 11th August and judges viewed our extensive garden and in particular our Allotment and Individual gardens of Willow, Sycamore, Maple and Rowan.
The judges were not only impressed with the gardens themselves but the enthusiasm and dedication we have shown. The Staff and the residents have worked very hard and were delighted that we were awarded with ‘Highly Commended Entrant’ and came 2nd for ‘Wildlife and environment category’.
Hillview was visited by Provost Derek Stewart who Home Manager Jane, staff and residents with a certificate and Bird feeder for the Garden. Hillview also be invited to official prize giving in Town Hall in Alloa in October.
Well done to everyone involved!
