Heffle take a trip to the Cinema

The residents of Heffle Court decided you’re never too old for a trip to the cinema. They visited the beautifully restored Hailsham pavilion theatre to watch the new Dads Army feature film. The theatre was elegant and comfortable and resonates the ‘Golden Age’ of cinema and theatre which took the residents back.

The film we chose to see was close to their hearts as it was a program they regularly watched on the BBC, and also being set in World War II it gave them plenty to talk about. It is amazing the number of memories that can be recalled from one simple trip.

When we arrived we were all greeted by the friendly manager who gifted a film poster for the reminiscent zones throughout the home.

On our way back home, everyone talked about the film comparing it to the series, we all had a fabulous time and look forward to a return visit.
