Green fingers at Belmont

The residents at Belmont House in Sutton, Surrey have been enjoying their regular gardening club.

Some of the residents have really enjoyed getting out in the garden in the finer weather so far this year, making the most the raised beds in the garden during our gardening club each week.

Mr Streatfield one of the resident at Belmont House and Liam the SMO, have been working hard in the garden on the raised beds and greenhouse, adding benches, so that it can be used for all the potting needs of the residents should the weather not be as kind to us.

The garden is now blooming with flowers, cabbages and sweet peas which are all growing. Those that haven’t been involved in the planting and caring for the garden are enjoying the beautiful sights and scents, and are looking forward to tasting some of the fruits of their labour as they come out of the kitchen!

Belmont House provides specialist residential, nursing and dementia care in a purpose built environment.
