Garth House hosts charity Halloween quiz

Garth House used the Halloween festivities as the perfect excuse to have a party and raise some money for charity.

The staff got into the spirit of Halloween by donning fancy dress, before inviting the residents to participate in a Halloween-themed quiz night that raised a total of £74. The quiz was hosted as part of the Caring Homes ‘Charitable Partnership’ initiative for 2013/14, whereby each of the 56 care homes across the group are working together to raise thousands of pounds for their two chosen charities, Diabetes UK and Parkinson’s UK.

Located on the western slopes of Tower Hill, just to the south of Dorking in Surrey, Garth House is a period home that has been sympathetically converted to provide exceptional nursing and dementia care for up to 40 elderly people.
