Galsworthy walk in a Winter wonderland

The day with the theme ‘Winter Wonderland’ was held at Galsworthy House care home with nursing in Kingston upon Thames this weekend.

The dining room and tables were decorated with lots of white and blue to follow our theme for the day and resident Trudy’s family members kindly came along to entertain us for the afternoon, as everyone enjoyed a buffet supper with mince pies and trifle.

The residents were also surprised by a very special visitor, Father Christmas entered the dining room with a large sack bulging with presents for the residents, each resident received a gift from him which brought smiles to all of their faces.

Gerry concluded the afternoon with Christmas songs and carols which the residents thoroughly enjoyed joining in singing such as “I’m Dreaming Of A White Christmas ” and “Silent Night “. Resident Bridget even sung ” Danny Boy” with some residents taking to the floor to dance.

We would really like to thank Trudy’s family for entertaining us today!
