Galsworthy visit the Isabella Plantation

Some residents at Galsworthy House nursing home in Kingston upon Thames visited the Isabella Plantation at Richmond Park.

The residents enjoyed a picnic in the garden before heading off to the beautiful Isabella which was in full bloom and with a lovely smell and colours of the flowers.

The plantation is 40 acre woodland garden set within a Victorian woodland plantation planted in the 1830’s. First opened to the public in 1953, it is best known for its evergreen azaleas, which line the ponds and streams and at their peak of flower in late April and early May which we were lucky to see!

We all had a very enjoyable afternoon.
