Fun farm day at Moorlands

The warm weather continued this weekend and Moorlands care home took full advantage as they hosted an interactive farm day.

The farmyard animals took over the garden of the Lightwater home as residents, staff, friends and families enjoyed seeing the menagerie up close. The animals on show included sheep, turkeys, donkeys and pigs, but the star attraction were the guinea pigs as everyone took turns holding and petting the friendly rodents. One family even enjoyed it so much, they are thinking of buying their own guinea pig as a result!

Located on the edge of the vibrant village of Lightwater in Surrey, Moorlands provides residential and nursing care for up to 40 elderly people.
