Frightfully Good Halloween at Claydon House

There were creepy scenes at Claydon House recently as staff put on a Halloween party for the residents of the East Sussex home.

Everyone at the purpose built home in Lewes enjoyed carving pumpkins and indulging in some Halloween themed treats, including green lemonade. The evening itself saw residents swapping scary stories and making scary faces, all to help get in to the ‘spirit’ of the event. With the help of the staff the residents even co-wrote a Halloween poem.

Claydon House in Lewes offers a wonderful blend of the old and the new in one breathtaking location. The home, which delivers residential care, nursing care and specialist dementia support for up to 47 elderly people, is based around a beautiful double-fronted Victorian house – a former Admiral’s residence – with a purpose-built extension providing the very highest standards of dementia care.
