Frethey House supports Macmillans Coffee Morning

Frethey House in Taunton held a coffee morning in support of Macmillans Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning and raised the fantastic amount of £131.10!

Frethey House head chef Dan baked some fabulous cakes and everyone enjoyed lots of tea and coffee. The event was really successful with lots of friends and families attending and donating cakes, and the home also welcomed in a number of visitors from the local community.

Home manager Susan Flowers said “What a wonderful morning it has been inviting guests, new and old, into our home all in aid of a good cause.

These days are great for the residents at Frethey House as it brings them together with friends, family and the local community providing them with a sense of belonging and with the addition of raising money provides as sense of accomplishment and self-worth, giving back to the community.

We are very proud to say we raised £131.10 for Macmillan, and would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped on the day, attended the event and all who donated.”
