FREE Intergenerational playgroup at Coxhill Manor

Date: Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month
Time: 10.30am – 12.30am

There is something for everyone at Coxhill Manor. People with good social networks and good health are more likely to have good wellbeing. For our residents and communities, the importance of meaningful engagement with the world around them in later life, whether through social, creative, physical activity, work or belonging to some form of community, can significantly contribute to their wellbeing and reduce loneliness.

St Lawrence playgroup and Coxhill Manor Care Home have joined forces to run an intergenerational playgroup. Hosted at Coxhill Manor, this group aims to bring together the youngest and oldest generations in a fun, interactive and safe environment.

Babies, toddlers and preschoolers with their parent/carer (older siblings are most welcome at sessions that fall in the school holidays) will meet together with the residents of Coxhill Manor in the Conservatory area.

There will be toys, craft and singing…and of course refreshments!

At Coxhill Manor care home in Woking we provide residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 58 residents.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
To Whom it may concern,

RE: A message from the CEO and Clinical Director

At Caring Homes we are following the latest Government advice and stopping visitors to all our homes, except for essential visits by healthcare professionals who will be required to adhere to strict protocols.

We understand that this may be very difficult for families but we are clear in our duty to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues as our top priority.

We want you to know that you can contact your loved ones through calls, emails, video and social media and we will support our Residents to view any messages you send over. We are confident that the teams in our homes are doing all they can to ensure that life remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. There will be a full programme of activities delivered by our in-house health and wellbeing teams.

We hope you will understand and support these actions and any further subsequent measures we might need to put in place.

Yours sincerely
