Forth Bay Celebrate 20 Years Anniversary

The residents at Forth Bay Home in Kincardine on Forth celebrated the 20 year anniversary of the home.

To mark this special day the residents and activities team designed a range of decorations including home made bunting that was made by resident Doreen Coultas with the help of the home’s activity co-ordinator. On the actual day Glynis from Shine Bright Entertainments joined us and had a sing along with the residents, which everyone got involved in prior to them enjoying a High Tea.

The High Tea was China themed with a range of cakes, sandwiches and other treats being laid on for all to enjoy as well as a specially designed cake for the day. It was a fantastic day and a chance to celebrate the home as well as the staff that have been with us for many years. These included Christine Horne who has been Housekeeper at Forth Bay since it opened, Annie Hoxley Domestic Assistant , Fiona Day Home Manager and Ann Harrower celebrating 20 years service.

With everyone together it was a great opportunity to give resident Isabel Kelvin some lovely flowers as it was her 85th Birthday just a couple of days before – making it a double celebration.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
To Whom it may concern,

RE: A message from the CEO and Clinical Director

At Caring Homes we are following the latest Government advice and stopping visitors to all our homes, except for essential visits by healthcare professionals who will be required to adhere to strict protocols.

We understand that this may be very difficult for families but we are clear in our duty to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues as our top priority.

We want you to know that you can contact your loved ones through calls, emails, video and social media and we will support our Residents to view any messages you send over. We are confident that the teams in our homes are doing all they can to ensure that life remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. There will be a full programme of activities delivered by our in-house health and wellbeing teams.

We hope you will understand and support these actions and any further subsequent measures we might need to put in place.

Yours sincerely
