Easter fun at Tall Trees

The residents at Tall Trees all joined in with some Easter themed fun. The day started off with lots of fun with an egg hunt we organised in the Quiet Lounge and outside in the garden. The residents were sent off on their mission to find as many Easter eggs as possible. The egg hunt was great fun for everybody and we all got in the spirit. There were eggs hidden everywhere and the person who found the most eggs won the egg hunt.

The ladies made us proud as they were all decked out in their new Easter bonnets they had made earlier in the week during our Craft Club, which is one of our very popular activity sessions. We also held a competition for the best decorated bonnet.

The fun was not over as we held an egg and spoon race with residents and staff together. It was very exciting because everybody got involved and lots of laughter ensued.

We love holding activities like this and it is a very important part of our life here. Regular activity is extremely beneficial to our residents and they were all eagerly looking to today as these events bring everyone together in a fun and relaxed environment. We’re always looking to carry out interesting activities at Tall Trees and we’re already busy planning our next event.
