East Hill House Shortlisted for National Award

Dementia specialist care home, East Hill House, Liss, Hampshire, has been shortlisted for Best Care Team category at the prestigious National Dementia Awards.

The 34-bed residential care home has been nominated thanks to their hardworking team and dedication to improve the quality of life of each resident. The care home offers support for varied types and stages of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia.

Samantha Booty, Home Manager, East Hill House, says: “Our team is passionate about helping residents to live well with dementia. We’ve worked hard to create a home from home environment, building strong links with the community including our homework club where residents help local school children this is a favorite for most and has great feedback.”

She continued: “I would also like to thank my staff for working so hard over the past twelve months, being shortlisted for a national award is an amazing recognition.”

East Hill House is part of the Caring Homes Group, which was established in 1994 by registered nurse Helena Jeffery and her son Paul. Since then the company has grown to become one of the most highly respected independent care and support providers in the UK.

The winners of The National Dementia Awards will take place on 13 November at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
