East Hill House residents hoping for a bumper crop

With the Christmas celebrations well underway at East Hill House, attention at the Hampshire home is already turning to the 2015 events calendar.

The residents decided recently that for Strawberry Fayre next year, they wanted to plant their own strawberries in the grounds.

The Strawberry Fayre is an annual event held in the grounds of the care home and activities such as face painting, tombola and an animal farm all help to raise money for the residents activity fund.

The staff team ordered the strawberry plants and the residents were excited to join the gardener in the glasshouse and help him plant them in the pots ready for the New Year.

Located in the village of Liss, East Hill House provides high quality residential and specialist dementia care for up to 35 elderly people in a unique setting.
