East Hill House invites you to a teddy bear’s picnic!

Following the success of last year’s Teddy Bear Picnic, East Hill House have decided to host another one this year and make it a royal event to celebrate The Queen’s birthday at the same time!

Because the doors at East Hill House are always open, the team have also decided to coincide the event with National Care Home Open Day.

On Friday 17th June, local nurseries and families are invited to East Hill to enjoy the beautiful and spacious grounds, with the little ones encouraged to enjoy a picnic and play during their visit.

There will be garden games and the children will be encouraged to sit outside to eat their lunch. Residents from the home will sit on the decking and enjoy an afternoon lunch while watching the children play.

Samantha Booty, Home Manager at East Hill House says: “Everyone from the Liss area is invited to join in with the outdoor celebrations. We’d like as many people as possible to mark this momentous occasion with us and raise a loyal toast, it’s going to be a lot of fun, join us from 12pm onwards.”

“There’s also an opportunity to meet the wonderful team members who work here and to talk to myself about life at East Hill House.”

East Hill House offers specialist residential and dementia care for up to 33 elderly residents in a beautiful home with stunning surroundings. The home is located at East Hill Drive, Liss, GU33 7RR.
