Dementia Gardening Day at Dormy House

The care team at Dormy House nursing home in Sunningdale attended training on how social and therapeutic horticulture can benefit people living with Dementia.

We have started regular gardening activities including sowing seeds and potting flowers out in the sunshine. Our first session was a success and gardening clearly triggered happy memories for our residents who got stuck in.

At Dormy House nursing home in Sunningdale we offer the highest standards of residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for elderly residents.
