Day at the Races for Dormy residents

 A group of staff and residents from Dormy House in Sunningdale made the short trip to Ascot Racecourse to enjoy a day of racing at the world’s most famous racecourse.

As is tradition, residents donned their finest hats as to join racing lovers including the Queen. Dormy’s chef prepared a fitting picnic and the group had strawberries and cream to follow. The sun shone over the 300 year old Berkshire racecourse as the group revelled in their superbly positioned seats, even watching the Queen’s procession go past in close proximity.

Dormy is located in one of the most sought after residential areas in Sunningdale, adjacent to the world renowned Golf Course. The home offers residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 88 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
